Musician/Sound Designer/Producer/DJ

Alexander Holland (aka Well Being) has been into sound for as long as he can remember. Recording his own voice onto tape recorders from the age of 5 years and messing around with sound and sound technology forever.

While spending his university years writing and producing tunes instead of focusing on his degree, Alexander discovered drum and bass and spent much of his youth on the dancefloor and in the studio listening to and creating drum and bass. This culminated in having a number of 12" releases on European drum and bass labels.

His work was heard by the producers of an SBS television series who were looking for an artist to create an original score for an upcoming television series. Alexander was then chosen to be the sole composer to write and produce original music (all non drum and bass) for the SBS Television Series, 'Is Your House Killing You' (2007).

In 2009 he won the prestigious Fringe Spin DJ comp, earning the right to Be the sole DJ to play at the opening of the Adelaide Fringe festival.

In more recent times, Alexander Holland has been getting back to his roots and throwing himself back into the disco, house, funk and boogie and pop sounds that he grew up with and continues to be inspired by today. He is also continuing his love of music production and DJing.
