Sanjii discovered an obsession for music from working within the film industry. Branching out from the editing suite to live VJ work for artists ranging from Jeff Mills and Richie Hawtin to Grand Master Flash. It was after directing music videos for the likes of HMC and Sia Furler, when he realised music was the medium in which he had the most to offer.

Sanjii started work at Red Light District Records and was quickly a resident at Adelaide's legendary Minke Bar and Skylab. It was not long before he became the most sought after non-commercial DJ in Adelaide. Currently Sanjii plays at Sugar on deep Sunday night with Tim Carter and his protégé Phil Rogers. Sanjii has also played interstate gigs, at the likes of Honkytonks (Melbourne), and for the Sydney Theatre Company. His talent and love of music across all genres has led him to playing with international artists from Dj Krush, Talvin Singh and Kenny Dope to Derrick May, Derrick Carter, Steve Bug, Tom Clarke and Recloose to name a few.
